A Study featured in the Global Journal of Health and Science shared in a patients Study, the most dominant communication barriers were gender differences between nurse and patient, the reluctance for communication, a hectic environment of a ward or unit and the patients anxiety, pain and physical discomfort .
In this this Study it was found that the common barrier nurses faced were a communication barrier with their patients.
